Job summary

Penta Consulting is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to configure and optimize the New Relic observability platform across enterprise workloads. You will implement APM, infrastructure, browser, mobile, synthetic and log monitoring, and develop dashboards, alerts, SLIs, and SLOs to ensure reliability.

You will analyze performance bottlenecks, collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams, and participate in incident response, RCA, and post-incident reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and administering the New Relic observability platform across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Ability to design and implement dashboards, alerts, SLIs and SLOs to meet reliability targets.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security and Application teams to improve platform reliability.

Site Reliability Engineer - New RelicPenta Consulting

We're seeking skilled Site Reliability Engineers to Configure, administer, and optimize the New Relic observability platform across enterprise applications and infrastructure. Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Infrastructure Monitoring, Browser Monitoring, Mobile Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring, and Log Management. Develop custom dashboards, alerts, Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Monitor application health, infrastructure performance, and user experience proactively. Analyze performance bottlenecks and work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews. Automate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Support production deployments and release validation activities. Build and maintain observability standards and monitoring best practices. Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to improve platform reliability.
