Purvah Green Power in Andhra Pradesh seeks a Site Head – Wind Projects to lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale wind projects, overseeing civil, electrical and mechanical works, WTG erection, commissioning, safety, quality and logistics.

The role requires 12–18 years in wind project delivery, two standalone projects of 250 MW+ each, strong leadership, stakeholder management, and adherence to timelines, budgets and HSE standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete execution of large-scale Wind Power Projects.

• Monitor site progress, resource deployment, productivity and construction schedules.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Head – Wind Projects responsible for the end-to-end execution, monitoring, coordination and successful completion of utility-scale Wind Power Projects.

The role will oversee civil, electrical, mechanical, WTG erection, commissioning, safety, quality, logistics and stakeholder management while ensuring project delivery within approved timelines and budgets.

Mandatory Project Experience

Candidates must have successfully handled at least TWO standalone Wind Power Projects, each of approximately 250 MW or above.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete execution of large-scale Wind Power Projects.
• Ensure project completion within approved timelines, safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors for seamless execution.
• Monitor site progress, resource deployment, productivity and construction schedules.
• Manage civil, electrical and mechanical works, including WTG foundations, roads, crane pads, pooling substations and transmission line activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, environmental and company standards.
• Review project planning, MIS reports, risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Lead site-level decision-making and resolve execution challenges.
• Coordinate with local authorities, vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to approved drawings, specifications and construction methodologies.
• Drive project commissioning and support handover to the operations team.
• Monitor contractor billing, certification and cost optimisation.
• Conduct regular review meetings with contractors and management.
• Ensure implementation of HSE requirements and a zero-harm culture.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary site teams.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects, particularly Wind Power Projects involving reputed OEMs and EPC contractors, will be preferred.
