Job summary

Resustainability in Tirupati seeks a Mechanical Engineer to execute installation and erection of equipment for water and wastewater projects. You will install MS, HDPE, uPVC, CI and DI piping per approved drawings and read GA drawings, P&IDs, datasheets, HFDs and equipment manuals.

Coordinate Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation interfaces, provide site clearances, supervise vendors, ensure quality and safety, plan activities to meet schedules, inspect materials, and prepare weekly/monthly

Qualifications

• B.Tech Mechanical Engineering with relevant years of Experience in waste water plant.

Responsibilities

• Execute installation and erection of mechanical equipment for water & wastewater projects.
• Install MS, HDPE, uPVC, CI and DI piping systems as per approved drawings.
• Read and interpret GA drawings, P&IDs, datasheets, HFDs and equipment manuals.
• Coordinate Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation interfaces and provide site clearances.
• Ensure mechanical works meet approved quality, safety and installation standards.
• Supervise vendors and contractors; inspect work and guide corrective actions.
• Plan and prioritize activities to meet project schedules and completion timelines.
• Inspect materials received at site, manage storage, material consumption and reconciliation.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and coordinate with HO and clients on site requirements.
• Handle installation and commissioning of pumps, blowers, screens, valves, clarifiers, UF/RO and other wastewater equipment while following safety and quality practices.
