Job summary

Consulting Engineers Group (CEG) invites a skilled supervisor to oversee metro track works in our ongoing projects in Surat, Gujarat. You will supervise track bed preparation, slab installation, sleeper/rail fitting, fasteners, and related activities per approved drawings and specs.

You will also monitor track alignment, levels, gradients and geometry using surveying instruments, coordinate with contractors and survey teams, inspect finishes, and maintain daily site records and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise execution of metro track works including track bed preparation, track slab, sleeper/rail installation, fasteners, and associated works as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Carry out and monitor track alignment, levels, gradients, gauge, cross-level, and other track geometry requirements using surveying instruments.
• Coordinate with contractors and survey teams for rail laying, welding, stressing, alignment correction, turnout installation, and track finishing works.
• Inspect completed track works and ensure compliance with approved method statements, ITP, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower, materials, machinery, and maintain inspection records, measurements, and site reports.
