Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for Site Engineer (Telecom) for Kavach project in Bina-Itarsi-Jujharpur section, BPL-SHRN, and UP/DN flyover tracks of West Central Railway, Madhya Pradesh.

The role focuses on on-site supervision of civil works, ensuring safety and design compliance, reporting progress to the project manager. Strong Railways experience and ITI/ diploma are required, with minimum 5 years overall (2 years for Diploma or 1 year for degree).

Qualifications

• ITI (Telecom) or 10+2 (Science) is required; Diploma in Civil Engineering is preferable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience (2 years for Diploma holder and 1 year for degree holder).
• At least 2 years experience in Civil works or as Works Supervisor/JE (Works) in Railways.
• Strong safety discipline and on-site construction supervision.
• Experience with Kavach or Railways signaling projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to the project manager and clients.
• Ensure all civil works are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
