Job summary

Fawia is seeking a highly experienced PEB Site Engineer to lead on-site execution across Pan India projects. You will oversee structural steel fabrication, erection, roofing, cladding, and safety while ensuring adherence to approved drawings and schedules.

The role requires strong leadership to manage manpower, monitor progress, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and QA/QC teams. You will read GA and fabrication drawings and ensure proper installation and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
• Experience in PEB site execution and structural steel fabrication/erection

Responsibilities

• Independently manage PEB site execution, including steel erection, roofing and cladding.
• Read and interpret GA, fabrication, erection and shop drawings.
• Ensure correct installation of columns, rafters, purlins, bracing and bolted connections.
• Monitor fabrication, welding, fit-up, dimensional checks and tolerances.
• Supervise roofing sheets, wall cladding, flashing and drainage installations.
• Prepare daily work plans, manpower allocation, material requirements and progress reports.
• Achieve daily/weekly targets while maintaining quality and safety.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, QA/QC, safety teams and project management.
• Identify site issues and resolve technical problems per drawings.
• Maintain DPRs, inspection reports and material records.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented PEB Site Engineer with strong technical knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection, roofing, cladding, and site execution. The candidate must be capable of independently managing site activities, manpower, quality, productivity, and project targets while ensuring compliance with approved drawings and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage PEB site execution, structural steel erection, roofing, and cladding activities.
• Read and interpret GA drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and shop drawings.
• Ensure correct installation of columns, rafters, purlins, bracing, sag rods, and bolted connections.
• Monitor fabrication, welding, fit-up, dimensional checks, alignment, leveling, and structural tolerances.
• Supervise roofing sheets, wall cladding, flashing, gutters, and rainwater drainage installation.
• Prepare daily work plans, manpower allocation, material requirements, and progress reports.
• Achieve daily and weekly targets while maintaining project quality and timelines.
• Handle site manpower, subcontractors, cranes, hydra, lifting equipment, and other resources.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, QA/QC, safety teams, and project management.
• Identify site issues, resolve technical problems, and ensure proper execution as per approved drawings.
• Maintain DPRs, inspection reports, checklists, material records, and work completion reports.
• Ensure compliance with approved method statements, quality plans, and site safety requirements.
• Monitor material consumption, minimize wastage, verify measurements, and support RA billing.
• Conduct final inspections, close punch points, and support project handover.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in PEB and structural steel fabrication and erection.
• Excellent knowledge of steel structures, bolting, welding, alignment, and dimensional inspection.
• Practical experience in roofing, cladding, flashing, gutters, and accessories installation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and independently plan site activities.
• Experience in manpower handling, productivity monitoring, material planning, and progress tracking.
• Knowledge of QA/QC documentation, inspection procedures, safety practices, and billing measurements.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and decision-making skills.
• Manpower sourcing for the site will remain your responsibility.
• Getting full commissioning of sheds as per client requirements.
• Checking & approving material dispatch list from workshop to ensure erection activity is continue
