Job summary

Achiever Apparels is seeking a Site Engineer to supervise factory construction and project management at our Gurgaon premises. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, contractor coordination, quality control and timely completion of works.

The role requires strong reading of drawings, MEP coordination, material management and cost tracking, with a focus on safety and compliance at all times. Prior factory/offices construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in factory, industrial, commercial or building construction.
• Strong experience in contractor management, site supervision, measurements and billing.
• Good knowledge of civil construction, finishing and related MEP works.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong coordination, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic project documentation.
• Candidate should be willing to work at the construction site and coordinate with multiple contractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day factory construction and civil work at site.
• Coordinate and manage civil, electrical, plumbing, flooring, fabrication and other contractors.
• Monitor contractors' work progress, manpower and adherence to project timelines.
• Check the quality of construction work and ensure work is executed as per drawings/specifications.
• Verify contractor measurements, work completion and bills before approval.
• Prepare and maintain measurement sheets, work orders, bills and project records.
• Coordinate procurement and timely availability of construction materials.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and internal management.
• Identify site issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Track project progress against agreed timelines and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure proper site safety, housekeeping and compliance.
• Support management in project costing, quotations and contractor negotiations.
• Ensure construction work is completed within the approved budget, quality and timeline.
