Job summary

Chembond Chemicals Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to supervise erection of rotary and electrical equipment on site, oversee piping erection and trial runs, and ensure adherence to approved drawings and safety standards.

The role requires coordinating with contractors, vendors, and QA/QC teams to maintain project schedules and quality. Daily progress reporting and site documentation are integral parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Experience in erection of rotary and electrical equipment on-site.
• Ability to review mechanical drawings, BOQs, specs, method statements, and material requirements.
• Co-ordinate day-to-day site activities with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Erection of Rotary and Electrical Equipment as per drawings.
• Piping erection and site trials per approved drawings.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and QA/QC for inspections and punch points.
• Test and commission mechanical systems and ensure proper handover.

MECHANICAL SITE ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION :1. Erection of Rotary and Electrical Equipment2. Piping Erection and Trial at site as per approved Drawing .3. E & C Protocol Preparation approval from Client Site team4. Ability to Review mechanical drawings, BOQs, specifications, method statements, and material requirements.5. Supervise and coordinate day-to-day mechanical site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.6. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.6. Strong ability to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and timely execution.7. Coordinating site operations, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.8. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper installation, workmanship, quality, and compliance with project requirements.9. Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient site utilization and timely completion of activities.10.
