Role Description

The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kerala, India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day civil works at construction sites of Mulassery Civil Station in Thrissur district in Kerala. This role includes monitoring site activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications, and coordinating with contractors, supervisors, and labor teams. The Site Civil Engineer will manage site planning, layout, and resource allocation, while maintaining safety standards and quality control for structures, roads, drainage, and related infrastructure. Daily tasks involve checking levels, materials, and workmanship; preparing progress reports; supporting stormwater and utility management solutions; and addressing technical issues that arise during execution. The role also requires close collaboration with department engineers to implement design changes and keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Bachelor’s degree .
• Design and Civil Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers on-site, including supervision of construction activities and coordination with project stakeholders.
• Planning skills to manage schedules, resources, and site logistics effectively.
• Familiarity with relevant Indian building codes, standards, and site safety regulations.
• Proficiency in basic engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) and MS Office for reports and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Kerala and manage field conditions, inspections, and site-based decision-making.
