Job summary

Alstom in India is seeking a Site EHS Engineer to lead safety, health, and environmental initiatives at the Sricity, Tada site. You will deploy EHS management systems, ensure compliance with statutory and company standards, and foster a strong EHS culture across the site.

Education: Engineering Degree in industrial safety is mandatory; minimum 5 years in industrial safety; languages: English, Hindi, Telugu; knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001; strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in industrial safety is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Safety from any manufacturing industry.
• Language: English, Hindi, Telugu (Preferable)
• Good knowledge and understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
• Deep knowledge of local legal requirements
• Teamwork and leadership skills
• Initiative and action-driven mindset
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools
• Telugu language proficiency (mandatory); Tamil language skills (advantageous)
• Safety Officer ratification (advantageous)

Your future role

• Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) in a dynamic and innovative field. You'll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and driven teammates.

• You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors, while minimizing environmental impacts and protecting Alstoms assets. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Manufacturing, Platform, and Finance), engage with local authorities and stakeholders, and lead the implementation of EHS policies and practices at the site level.

• You'll specifically take care of deploying EHS management systems and ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards, but also develop and foster a strong EHS culture across the site.
