Job summary

Rrayze Business Solutions in Nagpur is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day civil and structural construction activities at the project site. You will ensure quality, timely execution, safety and adherence to drawings and specifications.

The role requires 3–7 years of site experience, BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, and strong knowledge of RCC, formwork, and reading civil drawings. Hospital/healthcare project exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3–7 years of relevant site experience in building construction.
• Strong experience in RCC structures, formwork and finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel and construction planning tools.
• Good knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC and construction safety practices.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare or similar projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a site-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural works including excavation, PCC, RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing and finishing.
• Ensure construction aligns with approved drawings, BOQ, specs and schedule.
• Monitor daily site progress, manpower, materials and resources.
• Conduct quality checks on RCC, reinforcement, shuttering and curing.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, PMC, MEP and other teams.
• Maintain daily site reports, MIS, inspection records and RFIs.
• Verify contractor measurements and variation orders.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, PPE and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve site issues to meet timelines.
• Prepare progress updates in meetings.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Civil Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day civil and structural construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, timely execution, safety, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural works including excavation, PCC, RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing and finishing.
• Ensure construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and schedule.
• Monitor daily site progress, manpower, materials and resources.
• Conduct quality checks including RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete cube testing and curing.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, PMC, MEP and other project teams.
• Maintain daily site reports, MIS, inspection records, RFIs and as-built drawings.
• Verify contractor measurements, RA bills and variation orders.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, PPE and site safety standards.
• Identify and resolve site issues and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Conduct material inspections and monitor material usage and wastage.
• Participate in daily/weekly site coordination meetings and prepare progress updates.
