Job summary

Tata Technologies is conducting a walk-in drive for Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineers with 3–6 years of BIW and process engineering experience. The role focuses on defining BIW processes, validating tooling, and optimizing cycle times for robotic and semi-automatic lines.

Candidates should have a BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production/Automotive/Design and be proficient in Catia, Autocad, TCUA, and Process Simulate. Shortlisting and at-venue assessments will be conducted.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in BIW/Process engineering for automotive projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Automotive or Design.
• Proficiency with Catia, Autocad, TCUA and Process Simulate.

Responsibilities

• Define process as per product geometry.
• Feasibility study and process engineering.
• BIW tool validation to check feasibility.
• Weld shop line layout planning.
• Process engineering and cycle time improvement.
• Exposure to robotic body shop processes and basic robot applications.
• Knowledge of BIW assembly for robotic/semi-automatic lines.
• Lead project and guide team; document and share knowledge.
