Job summary

Tata Technologies is conducting a walk-in drive for experienced Industrial Engineers in Pune area. The role focuses on designing and validating manufacturing systems, performing cycle-time and layout analyses, and using Siemens Plant Simulation tools to generate operation codes.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in Industrial Engineering or discrete event simulation, strong English communication, and proven ability to lead project teams and optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or Discrete Event Simulation.
• Experience with plant validation and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Designs, improves, and integrated manufacturing systems.
• Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility using lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis.
• Discrete Event and In-Plant Logistics Simulation.
• Layout and Process validation (Plant and Shop).
• Cycle time analysis, creation, validation and optimization.
• Analysis and Optimization of Plant and Facility Logistics.
• Experience in writing operation codes using inputs such as cycle time, layout and process.
• Experience in Siemens - Plant Simulation software for writing operation and codes.
• MTM analysis for manpower calculation.
• Line balancing with MTM analysis.
• Facility layout study and bottleneck analysis for system capacity.
• DOE design and alternative generation for gaps observed in system capacity.
• Experience with European OEMs / USA OEMs is an advantage.
• Experience of Industrial & Plant Engineering projects of Global OEMs & Tier1s.
• Training & Managing project teams.
