Qualifications

• 8–13 years of relevant experience in plastic product design, development, structural analysis, simulation, or R&D.
• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Plastics/Polymer/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with injection molding, blow molding, and thermoforming.
• Proficient CAD modeling using SolidWorks, Creo/Pro-E, or CATIA.

Responsibilities

• Lead plastic product design and development from concept through validation and production.
• Perform structural analysis, engineering calculations, failure analysis, and problem solving.
• Develop and review CAD models using SolidWorks, Creo/Pro-E, or CATIA.
• Apply DFM principles and ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing.
• Work with Injection Molding, Blow Molding, and Thermoforming processes.
• Use FEA/CAE for product validation, structural integrity, lightweighting, and failure analysis.
• Correlate simulation results with physical testing and recommend design improvements.
• Support product optimization, cost reduction, weight reduction, and performance improvement.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Lead technical projects and provide engineering solutions for complex product issues.

Job Overview
