Job summary

Aptiv in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Simulation Engineer to contribute to large-scale C++ simulation software for ADAS and Autonomous Driving validation. You will integrate driving features into simulation environments and collaborate with global teams to accelerate innovation in future mobility.

The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on C++ development, cross-platform experience, and strong knowledge of OOP, data structures, and multithreading.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software development experience with strong hands-on C++ programming.
• Experience in Windows and/or Linux application development environments.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, design patterns and multithreading.
• Experience with CAN and UDP communication protocols.
• Automotive industry experience is mandatory; ADAS domain exposure is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain simulation applications running on Windows and Linux platforms
• Integrate ADAS and Autonomous Driving algorithms into simulation environments
• Analyze requirements and implement robust software solutions using modern C++ practices
• Develop and optimize communication interfaces using CAN and UDP protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Your Role
