Job summary

Quadruple seeks a PLC Controls Engineer to design, test, and validate industrial automation systems. You will work on PLC/HMI programming, safety logic, and machine sequencing to deliver robust automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• 2–8 years of relevant industrial automation experience.
• Strong experience with Siemens and/or Rockwell PLC platforms.
• Experience with TIA Portal and Studio 5000.
• Knowledge of PLC safety, machine interlocks, and industrial networking.
• Ability to understand electrical drawings, I/O lists, and machine sequences.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

• Implement machine sequences, interlocks, alarms, diagnostics, and recovery logic.
• Configure PROFINET, PROFIsafe, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, and TCP/IP communication.
• Support virtual commissioning, SIL/HIL testing, and vFAT.
• Perform code reviews, testing, fault injection, and defect closure.
• Prepare technical documentation, backups, interface registers, and troubleshooting guides.
