Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Showroom Manager. The Showroom Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and managing the sales team. Key duties include managing inventory, implementing promotional strategies, training staff, and maintaining a positive customer experience. This is an on-site role located in Palarivattom, Kochi.

• Drive showroom sales to achieve monthly and annual targets, ensuring effective execution of promotional and marketing strategies.
• Maintain high visual merchandising (VM) standards and ensure timely replenishment of stock across all sections.
• Coordinate with the purchasing team to manage inventory requirements and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Monitor and evaluate staff and section head performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Foster strong communication and coordination with section heads to promote a high-performance team culture.
• Ensure adherence to grooming standards and promptly address staff and customer issues.
• Oversee end-to-end store operations, including staff scheduling and floor coverage during weekdays and weekends.
• Enhance overall customer experience through proactive engagement and effective feedback management.
• Track and analyze customer walkouts to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present daily sales and department-wise performance reports.
• Organize structured induction training for new employees and facilitate continuous upskilling through senior staff.
• Follow up of Maintenance activities and ongoing implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; a degree in Business Administration or Retail Management preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Store/Showroom Manager in a reputed retail organization.
• Proven experience managing a team size of 100+ employees.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and reporting abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of retail operations, sales management, inventory control, and customer engagement.
• Ability to identify and drive process improvements while maintaining a positive, customer-centric environment.
• Customer service, satisfaction, and experience-oriented mindset.
• Prior experience in the fashion or textile retail industry will be an added advantage.
