Job summary

AbsoluteLabs partnership is seeking a Shopify Full Stack Developer to design, build and scale high-performing Shopify storefronts. You will work across theme development, custom apps and backend integrations with designers and stakeholders to deliver fast, reliable storefronts.

You will implement headless solutions, integrate ERPs/CRMs and optimize performance, ensuring accessibility and SEO. The role requires strong Shopify experience and hands-on API work in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of web development with at least 3 years in Shopify/Shopify Plus
• Strong command of Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and responsive design
• Backend experience with Node.js or Ruby on Rails or PHP
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs, GraphQL, webhooks and Shopify CLI
• Knowledge of React with exposure to Hydrogen, Remix or Next.js for headless builds
• Experience integrating third-party systems and apps within Shopify ecosystem
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Shopify Full Stack Developer to build and scale high-performing eCommerce experiences for global retail and consumer brands. You will work across theme development, custom apps and backend integrations, partnering closely with designers, architects and client stakeholders to deliver storefronts that are fast, reliable and built to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and customise Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts using Liquid, Online Store 2.0 themes and sections


• Build custom and private Shopify apps using Node.js or Ruby, the Shopify Admin API (GraphQL and REST) and Storefront API


• Develop headless commerce solutions using Hydrogen, Remix or Next.js where required


• Integrate Shopify with ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, payment and marketing platforms through APIs, webhooks and middleware


• Implement checkout extensibility, Shopify Functions and Flow automations to support business-specific requirements


• Optimise site performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO and accessibility across devices


• Manage store migrations from platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify


• Collaborate with UX/UI, QA and project teams in an Agile environment, contributing to estimation, code reviews and technical documentation


• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support and enhancements for live stores.

Required Skills & Qualification:
