Job summary

Pyrite Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to build, customize, optimize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores. You will work with themes, Liquid, custom sections, apps, integrations, and APIs to deliver scalable, conversion-focused ecommerce experiences.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of hands-on Shopify development, strong theme customization, and experience with Storefront/Admin APIs, multi-currency, and technical SEO.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer who can develop, customize, optimize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Shopify themes, Liquid, custom sections, apps, integrations, APIs, and ecommerce functionality.

You will work closely with our design, SEO, marketing, and project management teams to deliver scalable and conversion-focused Shopify stores for clients across different industries and markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores.
• Create custom Shopify sections, templates, blocks, snippets, and reusable components.
• Convert Figma/PSD/Adobe XD designs into responsive Shopify storefronts.
• Develop and customize product pages, collection pages, cart, search, navigation, mega menus, and checkout-related experiences.
• Configure and integrate Shopify apps, third-party tools, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and marketing platforms.
• Work with Shopify APIs, Storefront API, Admin API, webhooks, and third-party integrations when required.
• Develop custom ecommerce functionalities including product options, pricing logic, discounts, subscriptions, bundles, and custom customer experiences.
• Work with Shopify Markets, multi-currency, localization, international storefronts, and regional ecommerce requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify theme, app, cart, checkout, product, variant, and integration-related issues.
• Optimize Shopify stores for performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rate optimization.
• Implement technical SEO requirements including structured data, canonical URLs, metadata, redirects, sitemap considerations, and crawl-friendly site structures.
• Perform Shopify store migrations, theme upgrades, product/catalog migrations, and platform integrations.
• Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, content teams, and project managers for end-to-end project delivery.
• Maintain clean, scalable, well-documented, and reusable code.
• Use Git/version control and follow development best practices.
• Stay updated with Shopify platform updates, new features, APIs, themes, apps, and ecommerce development trends.

• Experience troubleshooting complex Shopify theme and app-related issues.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Experience working with Figma or other design/prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of Shopify Plus and advanced Shopify development is an added advantage.
• Experience with Shopify migrations from platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, or custom ecommerce platforms is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Prior experience working with multiple client projects will be an advantage.
