Job summary

ENS Enterprises Private Limited is seeking an experienced Shopify Developer with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience to build high-performing Shopify and Shopify Plus stores for global clients.

You will collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams to develop, customize, and maintain themes and apps, implement custom business logic with Shopify APIs and Liquid, and ensure performance and cross-browser compatibility.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on Shopify and Shopify Plus development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify 2.0 architecture and Liquid templating.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and Shopify Polaris.
• Experience with custom public and private Shopify apps.
• Experience with PHP and Shopify API integrations.
• Experience integrating third-party apps and payment gateways.
• Familiar with Git and version control; strong problem-solving.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver scalable eCommerce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus websites.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced and passionate Shopify Developers with 3 to 6 years of experience who are eager to build high-performing eCommerce stores using Shopify and Shopify Plus. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Shopify theme development, custom app development, Shopify APIs, and modern frontend technologies while delivering scalable solutions for global clients. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to develop, customize, optimize, and maintain Shopify stores while following development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus websites.
• Build custom Shopify themes and modify existing themes based on project requirements.
• Develop custom Shopify public and private apps.
• Integrate and customize third-party Shopify applications.
• Implement and customize popular Shopify apps such as Bold, Recharge, and similar solutions.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop clean, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Implement custom business logic using Shopify APIs and Shopify Liquid.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, APIs, and eCommerce trends.

Required Technical Skills

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Shopify and Shopify Plus development.
• Strong understanding of Shopify 2.0 architecture and features.
• Expertise in Shopify Liquid templating language.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and Shopify Polaris.
• Hands-on experience in Custom Shopify App Development.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Public and Private Shopify Apps.
• Hands-on experience with PHP and Shopify API integrations.
• Understanding of Shopify Marketing Events, Discounts, Gift Cards, and promotions.
• Experience customizing Shopify themes and third-party applications.
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, MCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering 5 to 10 Shopify websites or Shopify Plus projects.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment gateways.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is an advantage.
