Job summary

Medanta Hospitals is seeking a Shift Supervisor Engineering to oversee day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations in a busy hospital environment in Delhi/Gurgaon. The role requires a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in engineering and 7–15 years of experience with strong fault-finding and team coordination skills.

The incumbent will monitor electrical, HVAC, DG, UPS, plumbing, and critical systems, ensure safety and compliance, lead the maintenance team on shifts, attend breakdowns, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering.
• Hospital/Healthcare/Facility Management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good team-handling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations during the shift.
• Monitor electrical, HVAC, DG, UPS, plumbing, medical gas and other critical hospital systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of essential engineering services.
• Lead and allocate work to the engineering/maintenance team during shifts.
• Attend breakdowns, coordinate troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety, statutory and maintenance standards.
• Maintain shift reports, logbooks and breakdown records.
