Job summary

Bhatia Energy & Coal Benefication Pvt. Ltd. in Bilaspur invites applications for Shift Incharge / Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee the coal washery during shifts, ensuring production targets and ash reduction.

You will monitor heavy machinery, coordinate with maintenance, deploy the shift team, uphold safety and SOPs, and maintain shift logs for seamless handovers.

Qualifications

• Shift Operations: supervise coal washery plant during shift to hit daily targets.
• Machinery monitoring: oversee crushers, HMS units, screens, thickeners, conveyors.
• Maintenance coordination: identify issues and coordinate with maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Manpower deployment: allocate duties to operators, fitters, electricians.
• Safety & environment: enforce PPE, SOPs and dust control norms.
• Shift reporting: log inputs/outputs, yield, and breakdowns for handovers.

Job description

• Position Title: Shift Incharge / Plant Operations Supervisor

• Company: Bhatia Energy & Coal Benefication Pvt. Ltd. (Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh)

• Department: Plant Operations & Coal Beneficiation

• Reporting To: Plant Manager / Production Head

• Shift Operations & Execution: Supervise the end-to-end running of the coal washery plant during the shift to meet daily production targets and qualitative output (ash reduction).

• Machinery & Process Monitoring: Oversee the performance of heavy machinery including crushers, vibrating screens, heavy-media separation (HMS) units, thickeners, and conveyor belts.

• Breakdown & Maintenance Coordination: Quickly identify mechanical or electrical anomalies, coordinate immediately with the maintenance team, and minimize plant downtime.

• Manpower Deployment: Allocate duties efficiently to machine operators, fitters, electricians, and floor contractors across the shift.

• Safety & Environment Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (PPE), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and pollution control/dust suppression norms.

• Shift Reporting & Handover: Maintain accurate logs of raw coal input, washed coal output, yield percentages, power consumption, and equipment breakdowns for smooth shift handovers.
