Dalmia Bharat Group in Maharashtra is hiring an Operations Manager in the sugar processing division to oversee shift operations, drive efficiency during peak seasons, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

You will coordinate maintenance of boiling house equipment, monitor steam and power usage, minimize losses and chemical consumption, and lead a team to safe, compliant performance.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic management of shifts during season to meet factory goals.
• Monitor and reduce sugar losses, steam and power consumption, and impurities removal.
• Generate MIS inputs and efficiency reports and ensure quality of work.
• Oversee physical testing of process samples during shifts.
• Support cost control through inventory spare parts management.
• Ensure safe working conditions and liaise to institutionalize company values.
• Supervise maintenance of boiling house equipment and SOP adherence.

Job Description:

• Strategic Manage the shifts during season and shift operations to achieve factory business goals and performance standardsWork towards control of sugar losses in case of molasses, press cakeControl and minimize in steam consumption and power consumption in Boiling HouseReduce the consumption towards Lime, Sulphur and other chemicals for removal of impurities to ensure that the manufactured product is as refined as possibleGenerate inputs for MIS, efficiencies report etc. and ensure proper quality of the job doneResponsible for physical testing of process samples in shift (setting time, blain, residue etc.)Work towards minimization of cost of inventory spare parts
• Liaising Responsible for institutionalizing company values among the employees in the sectionEnsure safe working condition in plant area and other machine areas during maintenance and repair of machinery
• Operations Oversee operation of equipment /machines in an efficient way during shifts to keep a check on the quantity and the quality of produced sugarFollow up to check the availability of material during off-seasonUndertake Preventive maintenance of boiling house equipment during season in shifts & coordination with Section In charge Engineering to reduce the equipment downtimeEnsure implementation of SOP during shift operation, and responsible for product changeoverAnalyze collected data, implement corrective actions and validate test equipment during shift
• Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members� and provide requisite developmental support/ inputsRecommend training as required for team�s developmentDevelop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization needStrategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
