Job summary

SILE GLOBAL, an India-based sheet metal and industrial fabrication company, is seeking a Sheet Metal Designer to convert requirements, drawings and concepts into accurate, fabrication-ready designs.

You will perform 2D/3D design, production drawings, flat patterns, BOM preparation and coordinate directly with the shop floor to ensure manufacturability and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Create 2D drawings and 3D sheet metal models using SolidWorks / AutoCAD.
• Develop fabrication drawings, flat patterns and bend details.
• Design sheet metal components, enclosures, frames and assemblies.
• Prepare production documentation.
• Apply correct bend allowances, tolerances, clearances and manufacturing considerations.
• Design considering laser cutting, punching, bending, welding and surface finishing processes.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve design, fitment and fabrication issues.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, material utilization and cost.

Responsibilities
