Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Administrator in Chennai, India, to manage and enhance the ServiceNow instance, including ITSM modules, CMDB, and ITOM. You will ensure platform stability, security, and performance while supporting users across the organization.

Responsibilities include upgrades, user access management, incident resolution, reporting and dashboards, and documentation. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years' experience are required; CSA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years as ServiceNow Administrator or similar role.
• CSA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, security and access management.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with reporting, dashboards and analytics.

Job Description – ServiceNow Platform Administrator

Role Purpose:The ServiceNow Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Nordex ServiceNow platform. The role ensures platform stability, performance, security, and alignment with business requirements while supporting users and stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, and CMDB.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and platform monitoring activities.
• Manage user accounts, roles, groups, and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with developers, process owners, and business stakeholders to implement enhancements and technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity within the ServiceNow environment.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Provide end-user support, training, and guidance on ServiceNow best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or similar role.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, security, compliance, and access management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM and ITOM.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
• Experience supporting integrations with enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and organizational skills.
