Convatec is seeking a ServiceNow Developer in Hyderabad to drive digital transformation by designing, building and refining ITSM, ServOps and Asset Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Qualifications

• Proven ServiceNow Developer with ITSM, ServOps and Asset Management exposure.
• Certifications in ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement tailored ServiceNow solutions for ITSM, ServOps and Asset Mgmt.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Customize and enhance ServiceNow apps and workflows to optimize processes and UX.
• Develop client-side and server-side scripts to improve functionality and integrations.
• Ensure solutions meet security, data protection and compliance standards.
• Manage full SDLC including testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow apps and integrations.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and foster technical excellence.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow features and best practices.

As ServiceNow Developer, you will be at the heart of our digital transformation initiatives, developing and customizing solutions that leverage the full potential of the ServiceNow platform. This role demands a blend of technical prowess in both front-end and back-end development, deep understanding of ServiceNow’s ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules, and the ability to craft solutions that meet complex business needs.

About You

• Design, develop, and implement tailored solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Customize and enhance ServiceNow applications and workflows to optimize processes and user experiences.
• Develop both client-side and server-side scripts to enhance functionality and create seamless integrations.
• Ensure solutions are developed with high standards of security, data protection, and compliance.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

NOTE: This position requires alignment with UK business hours to facilitate collaboration with our main stakeholders. Role based in Hyderabad.

About You

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow development practices, including client and server-side scripting, application UI configuration, and custom application development.
• Certifications in ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management ServiceNow modules is highly regarded.
• Proven experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, PPM, CSDM, HRSD)
• Solid experience of JavaScript, Glide Script and AngularJS/HTML/CSS.
• System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education/Qualification:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - mandatory
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - optional
• CIS-Discovery Fundamentals (CIS-DF) - nice to have
