Job summary

Dell Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a Consultant ServiceNow to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions across Cloud and On-Prem platforms. You will work in a client-facing role, shaping the architecture and delivering automated workflows within regulated, hybrid environments.

The role combines hands-on development with solution design and consulting leadership, requiring strong JavaScript, ServiceNow expertise, ITIL knowledge, and collaboration with business and technology partners

Qualifications

• 7 years of application development with 4–5 years of ServiceNow experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, Glide Scripting, AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML, Ajax, CSS.
• Hands-on with ITSM/ITOM and Service Catalog workflows.
• Knowledge of LDAP, SSO, Reports and CMDB configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new functionality using ServiceNow components.
• Develop portal web pages with widgets in ServiceNow portal.
• Collaborate with business and IT partners to gather requirements and integrate with ITSM/ITOM.
• Deliver automated workflow solutions and support rollout of new apps.
• Advise teams on design, development and ServiceNow best practices.

What you’ll achieve

Consultant, client-facing consultant responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions across Cloud and On-Prem / Private AI platforms. The role combines hands-on full stack application, solution design, and consulting leadership for regulated, hybrid, and data-sensitive environments.

You will:

• Design and implement new functionality using Variable sets, Forms design, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Access Lists, Workflow Activities, Script Includes, Flows ,etc.


• Develop and deliver customized portal web pages with custom widgets in ServiceNow portal using Bootstrap and AngularJS JavaScript frameworks.


• Collaborate with business, systems, and Technology partners in business analysis meetings to develop business and systems requirements. Integrate with ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM


• Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow. Facilitate and support the rollout of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow


• Advise functional and admin teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices. Work with Business Systems Analyst to gather and review requirements

Essential Requirements

• Overall, 7 years of application development out of which 4-5 years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience required.


• Experience in JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, glide scripting, jQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, HTML, Ajax, CSS.Knowledge of technical components such as ServiceNow LDAP, SSO, Search, Reports, Users and Groups configuration.


• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow including JavaScript/Low Code, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and working with ITSM/ITOM/custom applications


• Service Catalog and Request Workflow Design and Configuration.Modules & Application implementation and Automated Test Framework knowledge.Good knowledge on the ServiceNow basic applications like Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, CMDB


• Prior experience with the Discovery tool in SNC and strong knowledge of the CMDB and Asset management modules.Knowledge on Now Assist and Virtual agents.Playbook design, Process design, Automation frameworkStrong knowledge of ITIL v3 methodologies, ITSM concepts, enterprise IT architecture, relational databases
