Job summary

Invok Hr in Hyderabad is seeking a Service Technician Trainer to lead in-house training for EV two-wheeler repair, diagnostics, and maintenance. The role focuses on building technician skills and improving service quality.

You’ll train technicians, onboard new hires, and align training with hub operations, sales, and customer outcomes in a dynamic EV environment. You'll continuously refine training materials based on floor feedback, evolving EV tech, and performance metrics to drive career

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of minimum experience in the 2-wheeler EV service/technician space.
• Strong hands-on operational background.
• Experience training, mentoring, or leading technicians is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver in-hub training programs for service technicians, covering EV two-wheeler repair, diagnostics, and maintenance.
• Onboard new technicians and get them up to speed on hub operations, tools, standard procedures, and safety practices.
• Train technicians on effective communication with customers and internally within the hub to improve service.
• Help technicians understand how their role connects with hub sales and customer outcomes.
• Identify skill gaps and build training content addressing them.
• Mentor technicians on career progression within the organization.
• Refine training material based on floor feedback, repair trends, and evolving EV technology.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for training new and existing service technicians on repair, hub operations, and workflow while also helping them grow in their communication skills and career path within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver in-office/in-hub training programs for service technicians, covering EV two-wheeler repair, diagnostics, and maintenance processes.


• Onboard new technicians and get them up to speed on hub operations, tools, standard procedures, and safety practices.


• Train technicians on effective communication both with customers and internally within the hub to improve overall service experience.


• Help technicians understand how their role connects with hub sales and customer outcomes, given the trainer’s own operational background.


• Identify skill gaps and challenges technicians commonly face, and build training content that directly addresses them.


• Act as a growth driver for technicians — mentoring them on career progression within the organization.


• Continuously refine training material based on floor feedback, repair trends, and evolving EV technology.


• Partner with hub/operations leadership to align training outcomes with service quality and business goals.

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10 years of minimum experience in the 2-wheeler EV service/technician space, with strong hands‑on operational background.


• Deep, first‑hand understanding of the service technician role — the day‑to‑day work, common challenges, and what \"good\" looks like on the floor.


• Working knowledge of how sales function at service hubs and how technician performance ties into it.


• Prior experience training, mentoring, or leading technicians is a strong plus.


• Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently to people at different skill levels.


• High patience and a genuine interest in developing people, not just processes.


• Comfortable delivering structured, in‑person/in‑office training sessions.


• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently at a hub location.
