Job summary

N/A is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and rectify defects in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems on ships, execute retrofits, and perform AMCs for FDAS and fire extinguishing systems across Indian ports.

The candidate should hold a Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering, have 5–7 years hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting, and good report writing and communication skills; willingness to travel domestically is required.

• Experience servicing Addressable Fire Detection Systems and Fire Extinguishing Systems (CO₂, FM200, Water Mist, Foam).

• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities required.
• Willingness to travel across Indian ports.
• Preferred knowledge of conventional/addressable fire detection systems.
• Experience with naval and marine ship systems."

What you will do

• Diagnose and rectify defects in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and control panels onboard ships.
• Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems (CO₂, FM200, Water Mist, Foam).
• Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems.
• Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program upload/download.

How you will do it

• Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting.
• Apply control philosophy knowledge to implement retrofit solutions.
• Analyze onboard logbook data to identify and resolve system defects.
• Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational excellence.

What we look for
