Godavari Tractors is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our tractor service operations at the Parbhani dealership. The role focuses on managing the workshop, field service team, and driving overall service quality and customer satisfaction.

You will supervise technicians, handle customer complaints and warranty matters, and ensure timely service closures while maintaining productivity and safety standards. Willingness to travel for field visits is required.

Competenze

• Requires Diploma/BE in Mechanical, Automobile or Agricultural Engineering; ITI candidates with strong experience may be considered.
• Experience managing a team of mechanics and handling customer complaints is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tractors, diesel engines, hydraulics, transmission and electrical systems.

Job Description

Godavari Tractors is looking for an experienced and responsible Service Manager to lead our tractor service operations.
The Service Manager will be responsible for managing the workshop, field service team, customer complaints, service quality, technician productivity, spare parts coordination and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day workshop and field service operations.
• Lead and supervise mechanics, technicians, helpers and service staff.
• Plan and monitor tractor servicing, repairs and customer complaints.
• Ensure timely closure of service jobs and minimum tractor downtime.
• Handle major technical complaints and difficult customer cases.
• Monitor pending jobs, repeat complaints and warranty cases.
• Coordinate with Kubota company service team for technical support and warranty matters.
• Ensure proper job card opening, repair estimates, approvals and billing.
• Monitor mechanic productivity, efficiency and quality of repair work.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Automobile or Agricultural Engineering preferred.
• ITI candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
• Good knowledge of tractors, diesel engines, hydraulics, transmission and electrical systems.
• Strong team-management and customer-handling skills.
• Good problem-solving and technical diagnosis ability.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to prepare service reports.
• Willingness to travel for field visits and customer complaints.
• Valid driving licence preferred.

Education

UG: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, ITI Certification in Mechanic

Experience in a tractor dealership, automobile dealership, agricultural machinery company or authorized service centre will be given preference.
