Job summary

Responsibilities

• Erects, commissions, repairs and carries out preventive maintenance of compressors at customer installations.
• Perform on-site installation, validation and commissioning of air compressor refrigeration.
• Troubleshoot and repair as per OEM recommendations.
• Submit spares recommendations for issue resolution.
• Provide on-site training on basic maintenance tips to customers.
• Interface with cross-functional marketing teams like spares and equipment.
• Timely and professional handling of service calls; coordinate with senior engineers and service coordinator.
• Complete Field Service Reports and other relevant documents.

Job Description

• Erects, commissions, repairs and carries out preventive maintenance of Compressors, Screw Compressors, Reciprocative Compressors at customer installations. Consults with supervisor or customer to plan layout of equipment.
• Perform on-site installation, validation and commissioning of air compressor refrigeration.
• Perform remedial repair activities at customer sites. Trouble-shooting, service and repair as per OEM recommendations.
• Submit spares recommendations for customer issues resolution as per the Spares Recommendations Procedure.
• Provide on-site training on basic maintenance tips to customers.
• Interface with cross-functional marketing teams like spares and equipment.
• Timely and professionally handle Service Calls arising from field service visits. Coordinate with Senior Service Engineer, Lead Engineer and Service Coordinator as appropriate.
• Timely complete and submit Field Service Report and other relevant documents..
• Communicate with customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective action.
• Perform assigned duties under instructions/supervision of assigned Senior Engineer
• Responsible for fulfilling scope of work and its compliance to OEM stipulated practices, recording various parameters and its calculations and analysis.
• Open for Extensive travel with field service for the respective base Location state.
