Job summary

Ababil Healthcare seeks a Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, maintenance and on-site troubleshooting of medical devices in hospitals across Bangalore and Hubli.

You will ensure equipment uptime, provide technical support to healthcare customers, and participate in training for clinical staff to ensure proper device usage and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electronics, circuits, and medical equipment is required.
• Two-wheeler with valid DL is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English + local language Kannada/Telugu preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and demonstration of medical devices at hospital sites.
• Preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and calibration of ICU equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for devices like Ventilators, Patient Monitors, Infusion Pumps, Defibrillators.
• Provide on-site training to doctors, nurses, and biomedical staff.
• Maintain service reports, AMC/CMC records, and closure documentation.
• Coordinate with sales team and customers for service requests and spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards; resolve customer complaints.

About the Role:

We are hiring Service Engineers to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical devices in hospitals across Bangalore, Hubli, and Vijayawada.

You will ensure equipment uptime and provide technical support to healthcare customers.

Key Responsibilities: Installation, commissioning, and demonstration of medical devices at hospital sites. Preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and calibration of ICU equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for devices like Ventilators, Patient Monitors, Infusion Pumps, Defibrillators, etc. Provide on-site training to doctors, nurses, and biomedical staff on equipment usage.

Maintain service reports, AMC/CMC records, and closure documentation.

Coordinate with sales team and customers for service requests and spare parts.

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution with high customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements: Fresher to 3 years experience in Medical Devices / Biomedical Equipment service.

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Biomedical, Electronics, or Instrumentation preferred.

Basic knowledge of electronics, circuits, and medical equipment is required. Willing to travel and work in hospitals across assigned location.

Good communication skills in English + Local language - Kannada/Telugu preferred.
