Job summary

Fives Maintenance seeks a Service Engineer (Mechanical) for Chennai/Coimbatore. The role focuses on installation, commissioning, and ongoing servicing of machine tools with hands-on expertise in Siemens and Fanuc controls.

You will diagnose issues, perform PM checks, and support refurbishments while traveling within India and abroad. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required, with 8–12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service activities and site erection/commissioning.

• Onsite diagnostics and service calls, travel within India and abroad.
• Identify opportunities for spare parts sales.
• Ensure compliance with Fives safety standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Chennai /Coimbatore

Experience: 8 to 12 Years

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of HBM, VTC, HMC, and SPM machines.
• Ability to work in Siemens and Fanuc controls.
• Understanding and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies, pneumatics, and hydraulic circuits.
• Basic knowledge of I/O signal troubleshooting, electrical circuits, and PLCs.
• Experience in handling machine preventive maintenance (PM) and health check-ups.
• Basic Knowledge of machine retrofitting and refurbishment
