Job summary

Signet Id Automation Systems in Edapally, Kochi is seeking a Service Engineer to install, configure and maintain home automation and security systems at client sites. Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome; travel to customer sites may be required.

Role includes diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and coordination with project engineers. Relevant ITI/ Diploma/ B.Tech in Electrical or related fields is expected; two-wheeler license is preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI, Diploma, B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, ECE, EEE, Instrumentation or related technical disciplines.
• Freshers with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in home automation, CCTV, electrical installations or security systems will have an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, electronic systems, networking, troubleshooting and technical equipment installation.
• Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities and willingness to travel to customer sites. A valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain Home Automation, KNX Automation, Gate Automation, Curtain Automation, CCTV, Access Control, Security Systems and Solar Solutions at residential and commercial project sites.
• Attend customer service requests, diagnose technical issues, perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs, and ensure timely resolution of service complaints while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with project engineers, technical teams and customers for site inspections, system commissioning, installation support and maintenance activities. Maintain accurate service reports and follow company safety and quality standards.
