Job summary

HASHh Automations is seeking a full-time on-site Installation Engineer in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, to install and configure smart home products at customer locations. You will ensure proper electrical wiring, system integration, and safe operation, while conducting site assessments and preparing installation plans.

Responsibilities include equipment testing, basic user training, coordinating with engineering and support teams, and documenting installation activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with smart home installations and automation systems.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical wiring and electrical safety.
• Understanding of mechanical mounting and hardware for installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering preferred.
• On-site field service experience is an advantage.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Installation Engineer role based in Pollachi. The Installation Engineer will be responsible for installing and configuring smart home products and automation systems at customer locations, ensuring proper electrical wiring, system integration, and safe operation. Daily tasks include conducting site assessments, preparing installation plans, performing equipment testing, and providing basic user training on installed systems. The role also involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with the engineering and support teams, and documenting installation activities. The Installation Engineer is expected to uphold safety standards, maintain high-quality workmanship, and deliver a professional service experience to all customers.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Installation and Maintenance for smart home and automation systems.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Wiring for safe and compliant installations.
• Candidates should possess practical understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to mounting, fixtures, and system hardware.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering fields is preferred.
• Experience in home or industrial automation, building wiring, or field service engineering is an advantage.
