Job summary

Modo Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a Smart Home Automation Electrician to install, configure, and support wired and wireless automation systems for residential and commercial projects.

You will work with KNX, Loxone, Modbus, BACnet, and RS-485/RS-232 protocols, handling lighting, sensors, HVAC and AV integrations, with site travel required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics or related field.
• Hands-on experience with KNX / Loxone / wired automation systems.
• Strong understanding of Modbus, BACnet, RS-485 / RS-232.
• Knowledge of networking, IP devices, and automation architecture.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work on construction sites.
• Exposure to HVAC integration and third-party system integration.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission wired & wireless smart home systems.
• Work with automation platforms including KNX, Loxone, and wireless systems (Zigbee, Wi-Fi).
• Integrate and configure Modbus, BACnet, RS-485 / RS-232 protocols.
• Handle lighting, curtain motors, sensors, door locks, HVAC integration, and AV systems.
• Perform system programming, testing, and calibration as per client requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical, communication, and device-related issues.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, electricians, and internal teams.
• Execute projects as per drawings, standards, and safety guidelines.
• Support site visits, commissioning, and client handover.
