Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose battery pack and electrical faults using diagnostic tools.
• Test voltages, parameters, and thermal behavior of batteries.
• Read error codes via diagnostic software and CAN interfaces.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Replace faulty modules/components and conduct post-repair checks.
• Support installation and commissioning at customer sites.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance documentation.

Job description

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a hands-on Service Engineer with experience in lithium battery packs, material handling equipment (MHE), EV systems, or related electrical/electronic equipment.

The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and practical experience in diagnosing battery/electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, replacing faulty modules/components, and supporting customers at site or servicecenters.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose lithium battery pack and electrical system faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.


• Test and monitor individual cell voltages, battery parameters, and thermal behavior.


• Read and interpret error/fault codes using diagnostic software and CAN bus interfaces.


• Troubleshoot issues related to BMS, battery modules, wiring, connectors, sensors, and communication systems.


• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.

Repairs & Maintenance

• Replace faulty battery modules, components, connectors, sensors, and related parts.


• Carry out preventive maintenance and battery health checks.


• Perform inspection, testing, and functional checks after repairs.


• Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing at customer locations.


• Ensure service activities are completed according to company procedures and safety standards.

Customer & Warranty Support

• Provide on-site technical support to customers across India.


• Diagnose warranty-related failures and document findings.


• Coordinate and manage warranty claims, including failure reports and replacement requirements.


• Prepare service reports, troubleshooting records, and maintenance documentation.


• Coordinate with internal technical, quality, and engineering teams for complex issues.
