Job summary

Kritikal Securescan is seeking an electronics technician to install, commission, and configure X-ray baggage scanner systems at airport sites across India. You will work from office and on site, ensuring proper integration with security networks and adherence to safety and aviation standards.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, on-site and remote support, documenting service activities, and occasional training for end users.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with X-ray scanning systems / security equipment (preferred).
• Read technical manuals and schematics; basic networking knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and configuration of XBS (X-ray Baggage Scanner) systems at airport sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of XBS equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, electrical, and software issues.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Ensure timely resolution of service calls and maintain SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams for escalations and complex issues.
• Maintain service reports, logs, and documentation for all activities.
• Conduct periodic system health checks and performance optimization.
• Assist in training end-users on basic operations and handling of XBS devices.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and aviation regulatory standards.

Required Skills Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with X-ray scanning systems / security equipment (preferred).
• Strong understanding of electronics, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic knowledge of networking and system integration.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in shifts (airport environment).
