Job summary

SKIDATA India is seeking dedicated Service Technicians/Engineers to join our Field Services team supporting the Navi Mumbai International Airport project. The role involves on-site maintenance, 24/7 incident response, and coordination with airport representatives to ensure high system availability and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electronics, Electrical, CS or IT, with 5+ years in field service or technical support and a strong networking/diagnostics

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical support, field service, or maintenance roles.
• Basic understanding of networking, Windows systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide 24/7 operational support.
• 5+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or system maintenance.
• Proven experience handling critical customer environments and escalation management.
• Strong knowledge of networking, system diagnostics, and incident resolution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring service teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine system health checks during every shift.
• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents and breakdowns on a 24/7 basis.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Coordinate with airport and customer representatives for operational support.
• Manage consumables inventory and replenishment activities.
• Support preventive maintenance activities in coordination with the wider service team.
• Address customer queries related to reports and technical matters.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the SKIDATA Technical Support team.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations.
