Job summary

Shrachi Group in Mumbai seeks a Service Engineer to manage installation, service and warranty processes for agricultural machinery.

You will coordinate with dealers, supervise technicians, and ensure use of genuine parts with a focus on continuous improvement through feedback to manufacturing teams.

Diploma/BTech/BE in Mechanical/Automobile or related field required, with about 7 years of experience, including 4 years in relevant industry.

Qualifications

• 7 years total experience in service/assembly in agri-machinery.
• Minimum 4 years in relevant industry and position.
• Diploma or higher in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain customer database.
• Coordinate installation and provide free service to customers.
• Close warranty as per complaint registration and update service tracker.
• Encourage use of genuine parts and appoint distributors if needed.
• Support dealers to deploy adequate service manpower.
• Identify dealer training needs and organise trainings.
• Audit service reports and track day-to-day technician activities.
• Allocate technicians for dealer service support as required.
• Communicate product issues to plant teams for continuous improvement.

Job Summary

Job Position: Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Customer Database Compilation
• Ensuring Installation cum Free service provided to customer
• Closure of warranty process as per complain registration (Updates in Service tracker)
• Encouraging use of genuine parts provided by the Co. (Share of wallet %) [Appoint Parts distributor/ Freelancer Technician in those areas where Dealer is not providing service/ parts support]
• Support encourage dealer to appoint adequate manpower required for service,
• Identify training needs for Dealer technician and organise the trainings
• Audit form fill-up.(along with i) Product Concern Intimation Report, ii) Job Card, iii) Warranty Claim Report)
• Track day to day activities of technicians.
• Allocate Technicians for Service Support to Dealers in case required/ for Service Activities.
• Product Review - Interacting with plants and share information to management regarding specific product issues PDI complains. Regular interaction with plant for continuous improvement in product providing feedback on benchmarking activity with competitor Product.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Industry: Agricultural Machineries: (Power Tiller, Power Weeder, Harvester/Reaper and BrushCutter, Water Pump, Sprayer)
• Experience relevance: Handling Assembly Services in Agri-machinery segment.
• Years of experience: Total 7 years of which minimum 4 years in relevant Industry and position.
• Qualification Required: Diploma/BTech/BE (Mechanical/Automobile)
