Job summary

AMPTOM ENEGRY PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking field-service personnel to install, commission, and service lithium-ion battery packs, BMS units, and inverters across customer sites in Tamil Nadu. You will diagnose faults and perform routine maintenance on deployed energy storage systems.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, strict safety practices, and clear communication with clients to explain issues and next steps. Growth into senior technical roles is offered.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service lithium-ion battery packs, BMS units, and inverters in the field
• Diagnose faults across inverter, battery, and integration points
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
• Troubleshoot wiring, BMS, and inverter control/firmware issues on-site
• Follow lithium-ion safety protocols and electrical safety standards for inverter work
• Document service visits, test readings, configuration changes, and repair actions
• Communicate clearly with clients on-site about issues and next steps in non-technical language
• Understand and address client requirements accurately, managing timelines and outcomes
• Coordinate with customers and internal engineering/vendor teams on issue resolution
• Follow up to confirm the client's issue is fully resolved and they're satisfied with the outcome

• Install, commission, and service lithium-ion battery packs, BMS units, and inverters/PCS in the field
• Diagnose faults across inverter, battery, and integration points (AC/DC coupling, communication protocols, charge/discharge behaviour)
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks on deployed systems
• Troubleshoot wiring, connectors, BMS, and inverter control/firmware issues on-site
• Follow lithium-ion safety protocols (handling, thermal runaway response, transport compliance) and electrical safety standards for inverter work
• Document service visits, test readings, configuration changes, and repair actions
• Communicate clearly with clients on-site explain issues, work performed, and next steps in plain, non-technical language when needed
• Understand and address client requirements accurately, managing expectations around timelines and outcomes
• Coordinate with customers and internal engineering/vendor teams on issue resolution, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the service process
• Follow up as needed to confirm the client's issue is fully resolved and they're satisfied with the outcome
