The role of Service Engineer within Futures and Careers focuses on the end‑to‑end support of high‑speed automated packaging lines. The engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of special purpose packaging machines.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Service Engineer to manage the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of special purpose packaging machines. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of electromechanical systems, PLCs, pneumatic/hydraulic circuits, and HMI interfaces commonly used in high‑speed automated packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of packaging machines at customer sites.
• Perform machine calibration, testing, and validation as per SOPs and client requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues during and post‑installation.
• Provide technical support and service visits for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Handle service documentation – installation reports, service logs, warranty claim reports, and technical feedback.
• Train customer operators and maintenance staff on equipment usage, safety, and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate with design, production, and R&D teams for continual improvement and customer feedback incorporation.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely resolution of service‑related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering.
• 7 to 10 years of experience servicing special purpose packaging machines or high‑speed automated machinery.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.), HMIs, servo systems, and sensors.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems used in packaging applications.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Willingness to travel frequently for on‑site service and support.
