Everest Blowers & Vacuum Pumps – An Ingersoll Rand Business in Ahmedabad is seeking a Service Engineer to address on-site service needs, install, commission, repair and overhaul blowers and related equipment, and support customers with technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years in blowers/industrial pumps, a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, and fluent English and Hindi.

Travel will be 70–80% across South India.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree (Mechanical / Electrical).
• Self-driven approach.
• Good knowledge of aftermarket for Air Compressor, Blower, Vacuum Pump and Industrial Equipment.
• Willingness to travel 70–80% across South India.

Responsibilities

• Respond timely to customer calls in the assigned territory.
• Install, commission, repair and overhaul Everest Blowers, Robuschi Blowers, screw pumps, boosters and vacuum pumps.
• Ensure service call attendance and resolution within predefined timelines.
• Prepare service reports and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Provide installation, operation and maintenance training to customers.
• Coordinate with factory team to ensure spare parts availability at site.

Job Summary

Service Engineer is responsible for addressing all service-related queries at customer sites and resolving technical issues through timely site visits and support. The role includes installation, commissioning, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support activities for Everest Blowers and Robuschi Blowers. The candidate should also possess a business-generation mindset to identify opportunities for spare sales, AMC/CAMC contracts, and service business growth.

Responsibilities

• To manage and respond timely to customer calls for the assigned territory.
• Independent execution of installation, commissioning, repairing, overhauling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Everest Blowers, Robuschi Blowers, Screw Pumps, Boosters, and Vacuum Pumps.
• Ensure service call attendance and resolution at customer sites within the predefined timeline.
• Carry out inspection, fault diagnosis, repair, and refurbishment of blower and vacuum equipment.
• Support customers through technical and administrative activities.
• Prepare and submit service reports and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Provide installation, operation, and maintenance training to internal and external customers.
• Suggest adequate spare parts stocking at customer sites to minimize machine downtime.
• Support the Aftermarket Spare Sales Team to maximize AMC/CAMC coverage.
• Close coordination with the factory team to ensure timely availability of spares at site.

Basic Qualifications

Diploma / Bachelor Degree (Mechanical / Electrical)

Self-driven approach

Good knowledge of the aftermarket (parts & service) within the Air Compressor, Blower, Vacuum Pump, and Industrial Equipment industry.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

70-80% travel across South India.

Key Competencies

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience within the Blowers, Vacuum Pumps, Compressors, or Industrial Pump industry.
• Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, repairing, troubleshooting, and overhauling of Everest Blowers and Robuschi Blowers.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
