Job summary

OLR Group Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Technical Consultant - Oracle Retail to support production RPAS SAAS applications, troubleshoot issues, customize code, test changes, and document modifications. You will collaborate with product teams to ensure robust IT solutions across Oracle Retail processes and interfaces, with emphasis on RPAS SAAS, Unix, and PL/SQL expertise.

The Role

The Technical Consultant - Oracle Retail (ORPAS)assistin the support of production application software. This includes assisting with troubleshooting issues, customizing existing software code, writing new software code,testingand debugging modifications, and ensuringappropriate documentationis generated for software code wherever necessary for OLR.

• Providing Support and Implementing business processes in Oracle RPAS SAAS solution

• Working withproductand architecture team to build world class IT solutions supporting the merchandising processes of the Project.

• Demonstrate subject matter expert for certain functions/processes/tools

• Delivering and ensuring functionality of the developed solutions

• Collaboration across multipleenvironmentand interactions with peers and customers across different geographies.

• Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organization.

• Assistsin defining acceptance tests for these recommendations.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for small- scalechanges and assistswith more complex change initiatives.

• Follows agreed standards, applyingappropriate techniquesto elicit and document detailed requirements.

• Prioritize requirements and documents traceability to source.

• Review requirements for errors and omissions.

• Investigate,manageand apply authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.

• Knowledgeonall Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server solutions.

• Technicalexpertisein Unix, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting.

• Knowledge of integrations between source-RPAS-destinations, also "RETL" program

• Experience in Advanced JAVA, RPAS SAAS, Unix, Shell Scripting.Well awareof HTTP and SSL and setting up OBIEE connection with SSL.

• BTech/BE inComputer Science, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant area

• Understandingofdifferent cultures

• Participated in projects with people from other functions/markets

• Proficient spoken and written command of English

• Exposure to the Cloud application and setup
