POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

The Server Administrator will perform the role of Engineer for AWS and GCP, responsible for day-to-day management of the infrastructure-related activities and must be competent in managing security issues.

The person will report to the Functional Manager and will work as part of a multi-functional team, involving collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage the overall IT Infrastructure, including information security policies and services.
2. Plan and establish a Security Operations Center to effectively monitor the security posture of group companies.
3. Keep all servers and devices updated with the latest OS and security patches.
4. Develop infrastructure, database, and networking architecture for highly available, Internet-scale applications.
5. Define rehost, re-platform, and re-architect migration strategies.
6. Develop overall strategy for Build & Release management.
7. Develop architecture of highly scalable, secure, efficient, and resilient systems.
8. Analyze requirements and proactively estimate and project the requirements for infrastructure, security, and DevOps initiatives.
9. Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs), design & deployment of new cloud-based services for product environments.
10. Detail-oriented and passionate about DevOps, and Information and Data Security.

EDUCATIONAL / OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1. B.E or Master’s Degree in IT.
2. AWS Certification will be an added advantage.
3. Minimum 1 year of experience in GCP Infrastructure Management.

CORE COMPETENCIES

1. Minimum 1+ years relevant experience in GCP is a must.
2. Hands-on experience with GCP services like CloudRun, CloudSQL, Storage, IAM, VPC, API.
3. Strong knowledge of Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes.
4. Knowledge of DevOps will be an added advantage.
5. Experience with Carbon Black and Service Now.
6. Hands-on skills in Unix/Linux bash scripting.
7. Some experience with Windows or Unix administration.
8. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines and tooling (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, or related).
9. Ability to propose new solutions for CI/CD implementation.
