Job summary

Rentokil PCI is seeking an IT Project Manager based in Thane West (MBC Park) to plan, execute, and deliver software development projects. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

The incumbent will report to the Assistant General Manager and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end software development projects.

About the Role:

• The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software development projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• The incumbent will report to the Assistant General Manager. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end software development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Create comprehensive project plans, detailing tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and interdependencies.
• Allocate resources efficiently, assign responsibilities, and monitor task completion to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify potential risks and issues early; develop and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead regular project status meetings and provide clear, consistent updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to established software development methodologies; recommend process improvements where necessary.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project performance and capture lessons learned for future projects.
