Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Data Center Operations Engineer to join our Data Center Infrastructure & Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, overseeing Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, driving Level 2 (L2) incident resolution, and leading a team of data center technicians to ensure seamless service delivery. You will join a high-performing, collaborative team of infrastructure, network, and virtualization specialists dedicated to maintaining high availability and seamless data center operations across round-the-clock shift rotations.
The ideal candidate will have: 5+ years of experience in data center operations, Linux system administration, and infrastructure management. Strong technical expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8), shell scripting/DevOps practices, Nutanix Acropolis Operating System / Acropolis Hypervisor (AOS/AHV), web servers, and database fine-tuning. Proven ability in Level 2 (L2) troubleshooting, leading technical teams, executing Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, and managing ITIL-aligned processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management).
