Job summary

Alten Group in Chennai area seeks a senior NVH engineer with 15+ years of experience to lead noise, vibration and harshness analyses. You will apply FEM methods using HyperMesh, ANSA, Abaqus, Nastran and related tools to assess structural integrity and acoustics. Programming in Python/TCL/TK is a plus.

The ideal candidate has deep fundamentals in materials, vibrations and transient dynamics, and will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a challenging engineering environment.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 15+ years of NVH analysis experience.
• Proficiency in HyperMesh/ANSA/Abaqus (Standard)/Nastran/Optistruct/HyperViewer/MetaPost.
• Strong fundamentals in strength of materials, stress and strain, load cases, vibrations, acoustics, transient and dynamic analysis related to noise, vibration and harshness.
• Programming skills (Python/TCL/TK) are an added advantage.
