Job summary

Optimize For SEO is a fast-growing digital marketing company seeking an SEO Specialist to join the team in India. You will develop optimization strategies, research keywords, monitor performance, and collaborate with marketing to align goals and drive rankings.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of SEO experience, proficiency with major SEO tools, and strong content and data analysis skills. WordPress familiarity and CMS experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of SEO campaign experience.
• Understanding of ranking methods and algorithms.
• Experience with tools such as GA, Webmaster, Ahrefs, SEMrush.
• Knowledge of keyword research and data mining.
• Able to complete competitive analysis of industry players.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS.
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
• Experience with SEM & SMM is a plus.
• Familiar with Google Sheets & Docs.

Responsibilities for SEO Specialist

• Develop optimization strategies that increase the company’s search engine results rankings.
• Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company’s website and marketing materials.
• Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
• Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals.
• Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy.
• Write compelling and high-quality website content.
• Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings.
• Able to handle 3+ projects.
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
• Develop and implement link building strategy.

Qualifications for SEO Specialist

• 2 – 3 years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
• Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
• Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, Ahref, SEMrush etc.
• Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
• Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
• Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a weekly basis
• Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
• Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
• Experience with SEM & SMM will be a plus point
• Familiar with Google Sheet & Doc
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
