Job summary

Confidential Hires in India is seeking an SEO Assistant to join our growing marketing team. You will work directly with the SEO Manager to execute daily SEO initiatives that improve organic traffic, local visibility, search rankings, and lead generation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of SEO experience and solid knowledge of on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO. You should be proficient with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, WordPress, and Canva; basic HTML skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of SEO experience.
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO.
• Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and Google Business Profile.
• Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML.
• Experience with Canva or similar design tools.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft SEO blog outlines and optimize existing content.
• Publish and optimize Google Business Profile posts.
• Set up and optimize new Google Business Profiles.
• Perform keyword research for website pages, blogs, and GBP listings.
• Build and improve internal linking across the website.
• Update and refresh existing website content.
• Execute off-page SEO and link-building activities.
• Create SEO requirements for new website pages.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
• Provide daily SEO briefs and keyword requirements to content writers.
• Track keyword rankings and monitor performance.
• Implement and validate schema markup.
• Identify and resolve SEO issues using Ahrefs and Google Search Console.
• Create blog featured images using Canva or similar tools.
• Support social media updates with SEO-focused content.
• Collaborate on guest posting and outreach campaigns
